Yahoo! Starts Syndicating Overture Ads On Blogs

The blogosphere has been buzzing about the imminent arrival of Yahoo!'s answer to Google Adsense.
Apparently, Yahoo has already started seeding these ads on some blogs.
Jason Calacanis points to a blogger who is already running contextual Overture text ads on his blog. This is in fact true. Here's the javascript code that's embedded in his HTML. Yahoo!'s entry into the contextual ad syndication is a great thing for citizen's media. It will create a competitor to Adsense and give small publishers lots more options and perhaps more money as well.
